Terms & Conditions

Before making a reservation, we strongly advise you to carefully read these terms and conditions, as they constitute a contractual agreement between Kraeng Komodo Tour and you. Customers making a booking are deemed to have accepted these terms on behalf of all individuals in the group and are responsible for all payments in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.

Prior to making a reservation, it is mandatory to contact our reservation team to check the availability of the tour schedule.

  1. You should first understand everything related to our tour packages, such as the type of boat used, package prices, and what is included in the package price. If the reserved boat encounters issues that prevent it from sailing, we reserve the right to replace it with a similar type of vessel.
  2. All customers must provide their information on a Google form, which will be used for sailing permits and entry permits to Komodo National Park.
  3. During the pandemic, all participants must present a COVID-19 clearance certificate in accordance with the regulations applicable in Komodo National Park.
  4. For your travel comfort, we recommend that customers provide their own travel insurance.

 

Deposit

A 50% deposit of the total price is required for trip reservations.
The remaining payment must be settled no later than 30 days before departure.
If you book a travel package less than 30 days before departure, you are obligated to pay the full package price.

Cancellation Fee

25% cancellation fee if canceled more than 150 days in advance.
35% cancellation fee if canceled within 120-149 days before departure.
50% cancellation fee if canceled within 90-119 days before departure.
65% cancellation fee if canceled within 60-89 days before departure.
80% cancellation fee if canceled within 30-59 days before departure.
100% cancellation fee if canceled within 0-29 days before departure.

Delay or Absence

If participants arrive late or fail to show up on the departure day for any reason, all costs and the itinerary of the travel package are non-refundable, non-changeable, and non-transferable.
If participants fail to follow the guide’s instructions to gather at the meeting point during the trip, they will be responsible for any additional costs and damages that occur.
Kraeng Komodo Tour is not responsible for consequences arising from participants not complying with the rules during the trip.

Force Majeure

According to the laws and principles adopted in Indonesia, extraordinary events may occur during the trip that cannot be predicted, denied, controlled, or overcome and are unforeseen, such as:

  1. Typhoons, storms, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, volcanic eruptions, and landslides.
  2. Pandemics.
  3. Abnormal social events, such as wars, armed conflicts, political incidents, and terrorist attacks.

In such cases, Kraeng Komodo Tour does not recommend canceling the reservation, but we advise rescheduling the departure date. If you still decide to cancel the booking, cancellation fees will apply as specified in the cancellation policy.
